How we process your personal information

At Thorséng, we give high priority to data security and confidentiality. On this page you can read our personal data policy, which describes how Thorséng collects and processes information about you.

Below you will find the personal information we collect. We also describe the purpose of the collection and the legal basis for the processing. 

When you visit www.thorseng.dk, we automatically collect information about you and your website use. We register, i.a., the date, time, and frequency of your visits, what pages you have viewed, what type of browser you use, what search terms you use, your IP address, including your network location and information about your computer.

The collection has no other purpose than to optimize the user experience and functions on www.thorseng.dk, just as we use the information to target our marketing on various channels, for example, Google Ads. It helps us to offer our users the most relevant content.

The legal basis for the processing is Article 6 (1) of the EU Personal Data Regulation. 1, letter f.

When you buy a product (stay, membership, treatment, event, gift card, or other) and communicate with us on www.thorseng.dk, we collect the information you provide. This can be your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment method, information about which products you buy and possibly have returned, delivery requests, and information about the IP address from which the order was made.

The purpose is to deliver the product you have ordered and otherwise fulfill our agreement with you, including to be able to manage your rights to return and advertise. We can also process information about your purchases to comply with legal requirements, including bookkeeping and accounting.  When purchasing, the IP address is collected for the purpose of being able to prevent fraud.  The legal basis for the processing is Article 6 (1) of the EU Personal Data Regulation. 1, letters b, c, and f.

Newsletters

If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect information about your name, e-mail address, and mobile number. The purpose is to enable us to deliver newsletters to you.

Recipients of Personal Information

Information can be passed on to external partners / third parties who process the information on our behalf. Partners may not use the information for any purpose other than fulfilling our agreement and are subject to this confidentiality.

The right to rectification

We correct incorrect personal information for you. If you have become aware of errors in the information we have registered about you, don’t hesitate to contact us in writing, after which we will correct the information.

The right to delete

There may be cases where you have the right to have all or part of your personal information deleted by us. However, not in the event that your information is necessary for us, for example, to comply with legal obligations.

The right to limit the treatment to storage

There may also be cases where you are in your right to have the processing of your personal data restricted to only storage. For example, if you think the information is incorrect.

The right to data portability

In certain cases, you have the right to disclose your personal information in a structured format that allows you to transfer the information to another data controller.

The right to object

You can always object to our processing of your personal data used for marketing purposes. If your personal situation makes it necessary to object to our processing of your personal data, you also have the right to do so at any time.

The right to complain

You have the right at any time to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency about our processing of your personal data. Complaints can, among other things, be submitted by email to dt@datatilsynet.dk or by telephone at +45 33 19 32 00.

Deletion of personal data

Information collected in connection with your subscription to our newsletter will be deleted when your consent to the newsletter is withdrawn unless we have another basis for processing the information.

Security

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures against personal data that is accidentally or illegally destroyed, forfeited, altered, or degraded and against the fact that it comes to the knowledge of unauthorized persons or is misused.

Only employees who have a real need to access your personal information in order to carry out their work have access to these.
